SET-UP
Rosy Rhubarb is an early bird event! The festival kicks off at 8 am, aligning with its longstanding tradition of being the go-to destination for treasure hunters as they meander the yard sales along Talbot Line and within the village of Shedden. Set up is available Friday all day. It’s a great idea to set up the big stuff (tent, tables, chairs) You can do it all Saturday morning but remember you have to have your vehicle off the vendor market area by 7:30am Tents must be secured properly! Weights and staking are mandatory. All stakes and ropes must remain WITHIN your site. There are to be no tripping hazards in the walkways. Vendors are allowed to bring their vehicles inside the vendor area FOR EQUIPMENT & INVENTORY DROP OFF ONLY. Do not leave your vehicle parked in the area while you set up. No vehicles are allowed back in the vendor area until after closing at 4pm AND THE WALKWAYS ARE CLEARED OF PEDESTRIANS ALL VEHICLES MUST BE MOVED OUT OF THE VENDOR AREA BY 7:30AM SATURDAY AND SUNDAY Vendor parking is free and located relatively close to the vendor market A map of the grounds for your general information is on this website. Please make yourself familiar with the layout Your booth number and location will be emailed to you prior to the event so you know where you are to set up Set up in your designated spot and your designated spot only Keep your area clean and tidy throughout the event.
SECURITY
The Keystone Complex is located amongst a growing neighbourhood. Although we have several houses along the perimeter and campers staying onsite, they are NOT considered security. The extra presence is a great deterrent to misfortune however no one staying on the property is asked to put themselves in harms way. We suggest you remove or secure valuables overnight. All tents need to be lowered and weighted down overnight *The Rosy Rhubarb Committee does not assume responsibility for lost, damaged or stolen items before, during or after the festival. All vendors should take all precautions to protect their own property.
